Meet Janet, Weft Extension Specialist, Blonding Expert, and Master Bridal Hair + Makeup Artist!

Janet started her career in cosmetology in 2016. Her personal goal is always to listen, have compassion, and understand her guests’ challenges in order to find the best solution for their beauty needs. Janet’s focus is on creating beautiful, healthy hair and fresh makeup looks.

Behind the chair, she is skilled in precision cutting, blonding techniques, non-toxic smoothing treatments, and hair extensions.

Favorite Service:

Blonding & extensions! I love doing anything from a bright highlighted blonde to a subtle hand-painted balayage. And, who doesn’t love the amazing transformation extensions provide? I do three different types of methods… tape ins, sew-in weft and I tips. I wear the weft and I absolutely love it!

Favorite Vacation Spot:

Hawaii! Specifically, Waikiki, Makaha, Haleiwa and Kailua on Oah’u.

Favorite Food:

Hot wings… Boneless and with beer!

The 3 things she’d bring if she were stranded on an island….

A comfy lawn chair, sunglasses and a pitcher full of pina colada? But if you’re asking about survival… A fail proof fire starter, a bug net and a machete.

Biggest Fears:

 Aliens and spiders

Greatest Accomplishment:

I don’t think I can answer this question without bragging a bit and being corny. I feel like my biggest accomplishment is yet to come. However, I recently bought a house that I am so proud of, and I continue to work on my skill and on building a healthy solid book behind the chair by reaching my goals and setting new ones

Bravest Moment:

I don’t know if it was the bravest thing I’ve ever done but it definitely took a lot of courage… My husband and I got into a cage in the middle of the ocean to swim with sharks. We even saw a barracuda that could easily fit through the bars of the cage and got stung by little tiny jellyfish. But, would I do it again? Absolutely!

Favorite Hobby:

Improving my home and yard. We just recently bought a new house, so all of our spare time is spent making this house our home. I also love checking out new restaurants and trying new cuisines. So, basically adulting and eating are my hobbies.

Dislikes:

Slow drivers in the left lane and lazy people. I feel like I can be lazy, so if I think someone is lazy, they are llllaaaaazzzzzzyyyyyy!!

Favorite Thing About Refined Beauty:

Being a part of an amazing team! We work so well together in the trust we have in one another is amazing!!

Providing exceptional salon services and helping people look and feel their best, boosting their confidence by just refining their natural beauty.
