Weft extensions (also called sew-in extensions) consist of a continuous row of hair attached to a thin weft strip. Your specialist creates a horizontal track using small, flat beads braided into your natural hair, then sews the weft onto this foundation. Unlike older track methods, our sew-in technique keeps all hardware invisible. The result is a flat, comfortable fit with natural movement.
Wefts work well for clients who want significant volume, noticeable length, or both. They're ideal if you have medium to thick natural hair that can support the weft's weight.
Your consultation includes a density assessment to confirm your hair can support weft extensions. Your specialist recommends a single or double row based on your goals and measures for the correct weft length.
Application takes 1.5 to 3 hours with an experienced artist, or 3 to 4 hours with an entry-level artist at reduced pricing. You'll leave with styling education and your first maintenance appointment already scheduled.

The weft hair itself can last 8 months or longer with proper care. Unlike K-tips, the same weft hair is reused at each maintenance appointment, so your ongoing investment is primarily the service cost rather than new hair. You'll need maintenance every 6 to 8 weeks to move the weft up as your natural hair grows, keeping the row secure and the blend seamless.
Properly installed and maintained weft extensions should not damage your natural hair. Our sew-in method distributes weight evenly across a braided track, avoiding tension on individual strands. Damage typically occurs when maintenance appointments are skipped, allowing the weft to slide down and pull on roots. Keeping your 6 to 8 week maintenance schedule protects both your extensions and your natural hair.
Installation begins with your specialist creating a horizontal track by braiding a small section of your natural hair and securing it with flat, coated beads. The weft strip is then sewn onto this track using a needle and thread. The beads and stitching remain completely hidden under your natural hair. K-tips bond individual strands with keratin, offering precise placement for fine hair with 3 to 4 month wear time.
